Prevention Point

Education. Change. Help. Opportunity.

The echo staff assists people who use substances and individuals who are at risk for relapse. Individual and group sessions are provided to assist individuals with personal goals, HIV/HCV testing and support through referrals to various community services, especially drug treatment (i.e. detox, inpatient, outpatient). The program also conducts street outreach and educational sessions within the community. The staff members for this program are located in Broome and Tompkins Counties, but assistance is offered to people within STAP/STCC’s eight county region.
